Severe Service Specialists (Triple S) is a manufacturer's representative and factory authorized automation facility for valves that are engineered to withstand severe applications. Severe Service Specialists is a subsidiary of FloWorks International LLC, which is a privately held company located in Pasadena, Texas.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving area
• Arranging shipments to customer sites
• Packaging, boxing product
• Working within CSD to get appropriate paperwork
• Arranging incoming shipments
• Performing cycle counts
• Use Microsoft Office, Excel, and additional software to track and communicate internally, to suppliers, and to vendors
• Create and run reports, as required
• This position requires self-driven individuals with strong customer service skills. This person must be reliable, attentive to detail and a good team player

Preferred Qualifications

• Material resource planning and/or production control experience with CSD
• Experience in processes of warehouse operations and distribution programs.

Training/Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED required. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Problem Complexity:

• Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices or instruction.
• Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor.

Autonomy:

• Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment.
• Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior co-worker and/or supervisor.

Environmental Job Requirements:

• Typically, in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, using a 10-key or calculator, bending or squatting
• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
