Job Description
YOUR MISSION
  • Responsible for the consolidation of the financial planning and reporting in the Region and for the preparation of the business reviews and presentation to the Board.
  • Specifically responsible for the Wholesale, Retail, and JV controlling and financial planning process for both US & Canada business (Net Sales, Gross Profit, OVCs, and Inventory), ensuring alignment between Finance and business partners (Sales, Planning) on all main KPIs including ingoing margins and product category level planning
  • Oversee the development of operational reporting and analysis on the results for Sales, Margin, OVC, Inventory and Open to Buy, including analysis vs plans and prior year results
  • Challenge the sales plans to identify risks and opportunities on an on-going basis
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to deliver plans, especially on Quarter-End and Year-End (incl.Customer Service, Credit, Warehouse, Operations, Sales)
  • Manage inventory requirements and Open-to-Buy process
  • Support Accounting with Month End close process as needed, providing critical reporting and validation of results. Provide and coordinate the collection of supporting documentation for external audit.
  • Support in EBP implementation
  • Drive the strategic development of Business Intelligence to support the organization with analytical requirements and process efficiencies
  • Manage and develop the Financial Controlling & Business Intelligence teams to uphold an environment that is collaborative, with a problem-solving and service-oriented mindset, supporting partnerships across the organization
  • Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA Brand Values (Brave, Confident, Determined and Joyful) in all decisions, actions, processes and practices

YOUR TALENT
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 15+ years' experience in a Corporate Finance or Accounting environment
  • 5+ years in Senior Management roles managing high performing teams
  • Strong analytical and data organizational skills required
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Profound HFM and SAP knowledge required
  • Expert knowledge in Excel is a must
  • Ability to marry 'top-down' approaches and 'bottom up', especially in Forecasting phases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of Management, subsidiaries and PUMA SE International Controlling
  • Drive for results

  • Demonstrated ability to work on competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, organized and accurate working style
