About this role:

The Strategy & Programs team helps Global Services & Delivery (GS&D) improve the way value is delivered to our clients in a more consistent and effective way. Our team's charter includes three main components:

Designing, implementing, and continuously improving our service delivery model Scoping, defining, and implementing other strategic and operational initiatives Facilitating communications, encouraging collaboration, and "connecting the dots" for other GS&D programs and initiatives

We are looking for a Strategy & Programs Senior Director to help design, innovate and continuously improve the Client Service Delivery Model in GS&D. This is a high visibility, high impact role, and a great platform to make a disproportionate impact on our clients' and Gartner's future success. The Senior Director role will take responsibility to design improvements in processes, responsibilities, tools, and metrics that lead to improved client retention and increased efficiency & effectiveness within the Global Services & Delivery team

What you'll do:

  • Lead project workstreams to transform and improve the Global Services & Delivery (GS&D) model for the future. We currently have two pilots under way that are testing substantial improvements to the way we support our clients in both Guided and Self Directed products. Your role will be to drive analysis, planning and (if we deciding on a full-scale roll-out) rollout for scaling our pilot findings across the entire business.
    • Analyse organizational implications of a broader rollout; use facts and analysis to drive the right business outcomes
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across team NCVI to ensure we do what's right for our clients and all parts of our business
    • Project manage rollout - if we decide to a pursue a rollout in the future.
  • Contribute to other GS&D priority initiatives depending on business need. Example responsibilities include:
    • Create, compile, and analyze ideas for service improvement. Analyze and evaluate based on customer, financial, Service associate, and competitive considerations - depending on the nature of the project.
    • Lead plans to roll out programs including partnering with communications and Learning & Development.
    • Effectively engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders in solving cross-functional problems and capitalizing on opportunities.
    • Collaborate across Strategy & Operations, Services & Delivery, Sales, Product, and Research & Advisory teams to bring these solutions to our service and delivery teams in a coordinated way

Who are you?:

  • Bachelor's Degree required / Master's Degree preferred
  • 12+ years of professional experience in related roles
  • Client-facing experience executing and/or leading relevant Services or Sales responsibilities strongly preferred. Gartner internal or comparable external experience.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills; excellent analytical skills; ability to analyse large datasets and translate raw information into actionable insights.
  • Champion mindset - innovative by nature, optimistic, and driven to only accept the best for the business.
  • Outstanding project management skills with an ability to run complex projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize workloads.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create and deliver effective dashboards, decks, and updates for use by multiple levels of staff, up to and including the executive level.
  • Strong influencing skills: ability to create alignment on objectives, vision, and plan in a fast-paced, heavily matrixed organization. Ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong presentation skills both in service and executive leadership.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams and large amounts of detail simultaneously.
  • Deep knowledge of the Gartner Service Delivery model or experience in delivering directly to a client is a strong plus.
  • Strong balance between strategic view and operational execution.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 134,000 USD - 184,500 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
