Job Description

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Processing Associate based in Dallas, Texas to work the night shift on a 2,2,3 schedule.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate with Blender Batcher Operators of previous shifts, regarding current activities in progress before resuming the missing procedures.
  • Procures daily ingredient usage from warehouse at beginning of workday using standup forklift, at lease (1) one year of experience required.
  • Efficiently operates all mix room equipment as needed and monitor product levels (to avoid overflow) via computer.
  • Continuous lifting of ingredients, (weighing up to 55lbs) for loading into blenders, or tanks.
  • Monitor product levels (to avoid overflow) via computer.
  • Hand pump flavor liquids from 50-gallon drum to mix in batch tank.
  • Check blend for right solids on CEM machine to make sure the levels are accurate.
  • Able so CIP/SIP processing equipment
  • HTST, UHT experience preferred.
  • Conduct PH, Caustic and Acid tests for properly cleaning of tanks then document results.
  • Maintain clean and safe working environment (scrub down pipes, breddo the room)
  • CIP Reclaim tanks and wash outside of tank if needed.
  • Must be able to lift 55 lbs. or more repetitively during a 12-hour shift and must be able to drive a sit-down forklift.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED REQUIRED
  • Twelve (12) to twenty-four months (24) related experience required and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required for this position.
  • Procures daily ingredient usage from warehouse at beginning of workday using standup forklift.
  • Follow batching instruction and procedures to efficiently operates all mix room equipment as needed and monitor product levels (to avoid overflow or shortages) via computer.
  • Hand adds flavor liquids of various sizes to mixer.
  • Check blend for correct standards on CEM/FT120 or other testing equipment to ensure product specifications are met.

And/ Or

  • Certified milk receiver - State Green Card
  • Responsible for receiving in and loading out tankers of milk, cream and all other bulk tanker material.
  • Conduct and document all analytical tests of bulk unload materials.
  • Responsible for milk separation
  • Communicate with internal and external teams related to dairy schedules.
  • Responsible for the operation of sterilizers, decanters, infusers, valve clusters, tanks, transfer lines, end of lines and product que
  • Complete AM activities as needed (cleaning parts, assisting with other operational repairs)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have basic knowledge of computers.
  • Must have knowledge of CIP and cleaning processes and procedures.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to effectively handle multiple tasks (simultaneously) in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • A keen attention to detail is essential.
  • Must possess the ability to organize and control processes and programs.
  • Must have effective interpersonal skills and be team oriented.
  • Available and willing to be contacted by phone in the event of an emergency and be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, late shift and overtime.
