Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY

Under general supervision, is responsible for the delivery of medication, infusion medications, and/or equipment and supplies in assigned department of Community Care Services: Home Infusion, eHome Health Care, or Pharmacy Advantage. May require equipment installation or set up. Maintains positive relations with clients and
patients and assists with satisfaction surveys as needed.

Under general supervision:

  • Work with warehouse assistants to accurately pick and pack infusion orders according to medication and packaging requirements.
  • Assist with coordination of all infusion and enteral related services and deliveries as requested.
  • Deliver medication and supply orders to patient homes, hospitals, and physician offices in metropolitan Detroit areas-provide patient with explanation on proper usage.
  • Complete daily activity reports as requested.
  • Responsible for obtaining patient signatures on all signature forms.
  • Sanitary cleaning, testing and adjusting returned equipment to stock.
  • Responsible for assembling new equipment.
  • Responsible for cleaning vehicles and maintaining maintenance logs.
  • Responsible for trash disposal, snow shoveling, and parking lot maintenance as needed

EDUCATION:

  • Requires high school diploma or GED.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires valid State of Michigan Drivers' License, and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Requires the ability to read maps or follow GPS and locate client homes in the Metropolitan Detroit area.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients.
  • Ability to move, lift or carry packages, equipment and supplies weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Company vehicle provided in Home Infusion and Pharmacy Advantage.
  • If working in eHome Care, requires own dependable transportation.
