We have an exciting Finisher Department Team Lead opportunity at one of our farms in Holyoke, CO. The Finisher Department Team Lead will attend and care for swine as well as assist in supervising employees under the direction of the Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all standard operating procedures are being followed and facilities are in good working condition.
• Maintain high herd health and adhere to all biosecurity set forth by the company and proper feeding and care of animals.
• Training of employees on day-to-day processes and procedures to develop a competent workforce by utilizing hands-on training methods.
• Supervising and scheduling groups of employees and acting as manager when the supervisor is not present
• Maintain accurate records and reports of animals, employees, and supplies on the farm.

• Assist and ensure that all weekly and daily reports are turned in timely and accurately.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
• Follow the assigned medication and vaccination protocols for the farm.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 6 months + related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be proficient in English, reading and writing.

SCHEDULE

• The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.

COMPENSATION

We offer a competitive pay rate based on your skills and experience related to this position. The starting compensation in Holyoke, CO for this position is $51,200.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
