Job Description

This position is open for a strong self-motivated Continuous Integration Development Engineer with a passion for automating and codifying the infrastructure, and automation to provide continuous testing and feedback of firmware quality to our development and QA teams. The candidate has to be excited about building a scalable test infrastructure and framework in support of DDN's SFA firmware development team.

This position is a hybrid role working out of the Colorado Springs, Colorado Office.

Responsibilities

    CI/CD Automation framework improvement, maintenance and triaging.
  • Development and implementation of processes for improvement in testing.
  • In depth traceback analysis for triaging pipeline failures.
  • Jenkins maintenance including hardware and software to support pipeline.
  • Improvements/maintenance of user tools and interfaces.
  • Participation in scrum team for Continuous Integration team.
  • Cron job development and maintenance.
  • Python framework development and maintenance, including API integration with various tools.
  • Development of docker hosts and containers using Kubernetes to support pipeline improvements.
  • Work closely with multiple teams to improve overall Continuous Integration environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of DevOps and/or software development experience
  • Solid Python, and framework development experiences (create/maintain/deploy/unit test)
  • Solid Jenkins or similar automated testing tool experience
  • Strong experience with docker/container implementation
  • Experience in API integration with various tools
  • Strong experience in CI/CD (Git, Gerrit)
  • Strong Linux experience
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Experience with Perl, a plus
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Very good written/verbal communication skills in English

Target Salary: $85,000/ YR
