Exciting opportunity to be part of our Catalyst division located in Louisville, KY. You in this role will work in our Research and Development group as senior lab scientist. This will include managing the preparation and testing of catalyst, assisting in R&D projects, developing new products, supporting catalyst productions and customer technical services. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation and testing of catalysts mainly used in Syngas and Fuelsapplication.
  • You will be heavily involved in the troubleshooting of test units and analytical equipment.
  • Handled the gas Chromatography (GC) analysis, calculation, and analysis of test results
  • You will assist in handlingthe characterization and chemical analysis of catalysts.
  • Responsible for organizing, compiling, and summarizingtest and analytical results.
  • Prepare reports and present test results to Supervisor, Project team and management.
  • Assisting in the collaboration in research and development of new products related to Fischer-Tropsch area.
  • Maintain a very organized and detailed laboratory notebook.

Requirements

  • Seeking a minimum Master's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (Ph.D. in ether area or similar is highly preferred)
  • You should have at least 5 years of experience in a laboratory environment
  • Experience in GC analysis and operating test units
  • Experience in analytical techniques involved in the preparation of inorganic materials or catalysts
  • Good computer skills including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You should have a personal desire and drive for achievement
  • Having excellent communication, technical, and organizational skills are a must
  • Delivering to promise while demonstrating flexibility to changing priorities
  • You should have a strong ability for problem solving
  • Seeking an indiviual who can actively identify problems and opportunities and fosters a sense of urgency.
