As a Senior Security Solutions Architect for Ericsson Federal Technologies Group (EFTG), you will own the solution, workshops, architectures, white papers, and technical forums. You will lead customer presentations and engagement. This exciting opportunity will define the cyber security solution for the next generation of Department of Defense communications systems based on 5G technology. Success is based on customer intimacy, building unwavering customer trust as a key priority. This role requires a holistic view of the network to ensure an end-to-end security posture and minimize risk to DoD and Federal customers.
CLEARANCE: * Applicants selected will be subject to a USG DCSA security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required (at a minimum).
What you will do
  • Participate in C-Level, Senior Ranking Officer, or Senior Government Official discussions based on an end-to-end private network environment, including 5G architecture and specifications, Cyber-security, RAN, Open RAN, Packet Core, IMS Core, OSS, Network Slicing, Orchestration, Services, Managed Services domains.
  • Work with the DoD and Federal Agencies to represent Ericsson Technology in the Authority To Operate Accreditation Processes.
  • Deliver quality security advisory projects, managing risk, budget, workload, and time across multiple assignments.
  • Contribute to and create RFP responses, solution documents, questionnaires, customer presentations, and related documents.
  • Analyze customer offerings, market scenarios, and go-to-market strategies related to security technology and operations.
  • Prioritize the customer needs and drive delivery of the customer solutions.
  • Have a passion for supporting the US Department of Defense and tactical operations functions.
  • You will participate in direct customer dialogues at the highest levels, providing experience and knowledge of emerging technology trends and business models in combination with Ericsson technology and offerings.
  • In addition to having a firm command of the Ericsson portfolio, you must have a solid understanding of competition and market situation, among others, in building on in-depth knowledge and understanding of the customer.
  • You will creatively apply 3GPP and Ericsson Technology to the US Department of Defense, Dual Use, and use-cases.
You will bring
  • RAN, Core and Cloud Network security knowledge and experience, spanning 3G, 4G, and 5G infrastructure
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Ericssons portfolio of products and services.
  • Proven ability to lead customer engagements into solutions providing outstanding value for the customer and Ericsson Federal Technologies Group.
  • Working knowledge of 3GPP 5G & LTE standards and industry trends and initiatives from other standards bodies.
  • Experience working with government and defense industrial base customers. Broad understanding of defense mission execution and operational needs.
  • Experience with FISMA and DoD Security processes and requirements such as RMF, ATO, STIGS, SCAP and ACAS Scans, and FedRAMP.
  • Experience in network architecture planning activities focusing on End-to-End (E2E) Security Solutions incorporating EPC, RAN, Transport, and UE requirements utilizing Ericsson technologies.
  • Ability to create test plans to demonstrate system architecture and performance.
  • Extensive experience in Enterprise/Dedicated/Mission Critical Networks or small carrier grade end-to-end networks.
  • US Citizenship & possess a current DCSA security clearance or be able to obtain one within 90 days of the hiring date: Secret level clearance minimum.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, or other related discipline required; Masters/MBA preferred.
  • At least 10+ years of experience in Security Consulting, IT Security, or Network Security industry, having proven experience in complex transformational projects and security consulting engagements
  • Experience working with large-scale business processes, architectures, and organizations (large enterprises, service providers, critical infrastructure, etc.)
  • Comprehensive understanding of mobile networks and preferably expertise in at least one of RAN, Core or Management/Operations domains
  • Experience in security auditing and/or assessments of various types (vulnerability, network, process, policy, risk, etc.)
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, L2/L3 LAN/WAN, and mobile networks; preferably expertise in at least one of RAN, Core, or Management/Operations domains within large networks
  • Experience working with customers on technical strategy evolution.
  • Significant exposure to pricing, selling, and packaging Security Solutions for Radio, Core, and End-to-End Solutions.
  • C-Suite-level consultative selling skills.
This role reports to the VP of Mission Critical Systems.
