About the Role:
The Operational Technology Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining operational technology networks across Wabash. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of Operational Technology systems and networks used in industrial environments.
You will participate in projects with low to moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Demonstrates a keen sense of independence and self-motivation, with the ability to work autonomously while maintaining an awareness of personal limitations. Recognizes and respects boundaries, seeking guidance and collaboration when necessary for optimal task execution and overall team success.
Additionally, this position will be part of the Network Operations team in a dynamic environment where teamwork is the key.
Your Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and deploy OT network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OT networks with IT systems while ensuring security and compliance standards are met.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security threats to OT networks.
Implement network segmentation and access controls to protect critical infrastructure and assets.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
Develop and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to OT network engineering.
Provide technical support and training to OT personnel on network-related matters.
Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate, procure, and implement network solutions and services.
Participate in incident response activities and contribute to the resolution of cybersecurity incidents affecting OT environments.
Maintaining, upgrading, and installing the company's network including, switches, routers, Wireless, Firewalls and other technologies and interfaces.
