Position Summary
The IMS Scheduler will create and provide monthly and weekly production requirements and inventory plans for planning processes. Using capacity analysis and customer service procedures it will help govern schedules and finished product inventory plans. As projects develop the Scheduler will actively use all resources to maintain tracking progress for all activities within the Program Management, Logistics, Testing and Engineering and
QC/QA Departments. This will assist with aligning and synchronizing the procurement, maintenance for staff and production plans.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the master production schedule, review task orders and analyze production planning inputs. Responsible for continuous improvement of the scheduling process and performance.
  • Create and execute scheduling processes according to the program office business strategies and policies. Track contract task deliverable progress, risks, and milestones
  • Attend meetings to capture schedule issues, risks, and status. Provides input on risks issues, and predecessor requirements of task order schedules.
  • Presents schedule information briefs to government customers, management, and senior leadership. Inputs new task orders into the master schedule.
  • Drive accurate Task Order forecasts.
  • Establish and document the process for developing, maintaining and updating the master schedule.
  • Conducts schedule meetings with Functional Area Managers (FAMs) to gather schedule data for scheduling new tasks within the contract scope.
  • Develop high level schedule tools that will measure milestone criteria's from start to finish. Resource load all schedules and analyze trends.
  • Identify potential scheduling and resourcing issues on a day-to-day basis
  • Monitors master schedule resources to ensure resources are available for successful task order deliveries.
Experience
  • This position requires an existing U.S. Government granted personnel security clearance at the Secret level
  • Job Located at a U.S. Government Facility
  • 2-4 years' experience supporting Navy C4I POR (PMW 120, 130, 150, 160, 170 etc..)
  • Must have a general technical understanding of Navy C4ISR, TDL, and/or Combat Weapons Systems
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite applications such as Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word Understanding of Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Must be proactive and able to use forward-planning utilizing "what if" simulations to evaluate proposed MPS changes to determine impact and execute the approved changes effectively.
  • Must be able to retrieve status updates and accurately enter into master schedules Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university; or 4 years of experience as a Master Scheduler
  • Required 3+ years' experience working as a project scheduler
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
Preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a team environment.
  • Prefer 5 years or more of administrative DoD/military or other relevant experience.
