Job Description
Responsibilities

Sabre is seeking a Deputy Program Manager/Contract Growth SME to join our team and support strategic execution and growth of our cybersecurity, systems/software engineering, and related contracts and business development (BD) initiatives for our Department of Defense (DoD) customers. The ideal candidate will guide customer solutions and recommend strategies to achieve contract and BD goals.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working alongside operations to manage contracts, support key deliverables, and further grow/develop contracts.
  • Actively engage in corporate strategic planning initiatives to support contract growth and business development goals.
  • Meet with capture managers and BD leaders on a regular basis to review status, assign action items, and drive progress.
  • Lead BD/capture meetings for assigned opportunities.
  • Lead customer and teammate call planning and capture management activities.
  • Prepare technical subject matter experts and executives for customer meetings to guide capture efforts.
  • Lead assigned opportunities from initial capture to proposal submission
  • Facilitate/coordinate and provide writing support in the generation of Request for Information (RFI) responses, White Papers, small business innovation research (SBIR), and small business technology transfer (STTR) requests.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field.
  • Minor in English or related field a plus.
  • Strong writing and internal and external communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of government contracts and contract vehicles a plus.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
