Job Description
Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is hiring a Remote Journeyman Configuration Manager to support one of our government customers located in Southern Maryland at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Sabre will provide technical, analytical, and managerial support for the PEO(A) Advanced Development Team (ADT) by providing Program Management, General/Technical Support; Operations Support; Cybersecurity/Information Assurance; Application Integration; Cloud Services; Data Architecture, Design Engineering, and Management Support; Digital Solutions and Technology Development and Acceleration/Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) Support; and Virtual / Digital Integrated Modeling Environment (IME) and Capability Based Acquisition (CBA) Support.

The selected candidate will:

  • Define configuration management processes to manage configuration baselines for all ADT weapon systems, digital engineering, and software products in alignment with ADT Agile and CI/CD processes
  • Support the implementation of CM processes within the ADT cloud environment
  • Document and maintain program CM processes
  • Develop team training for implementation of CM processes
  • Support resource planning for growing and developing the CM team to support emerging platforms in the program's portfolio
  • Oversee and manage all program CM activities

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Five (5) or more years of experience performing related work is required
  • Must have working knowledge of C, C++, C#, Java, the Atlassian Tool Set, etc.
  • Typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently
  • May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job
  • Must be familiar and have experience working in a DoD environment
  • Must be able to perform functional duties independently or with minimal supervision
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance or higher is required
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • All candidates will be required to pass a background investigation
