Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is currently looking for a Cost Analyst to work at Patuxent River, MD.

Candidate will:

  • Apply knowledge of weapons systems cost estimating principles and practices in support of cost related acquisition activities such as Estimates At Completion (EAC), Unit Production Cost estimates, and Operating and Support (O&S) cost/Life Cycle Cost (LCC) projections.
  • Modify and extend existing toolsets/methodologies (may also require the use of advanced techniques or development of new estimating tools).
  • Use technical ability to assess the cost and schedule implications of existing and projected technological advances, as well as being able to evaluate the cost impacts of new and innovative acquisition strategies.
  • Assist in the evaluation of detailed cost proposals and recommend strategies for cost reductions.


Qualifications

  • A mininum of five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 24 semester hours in quantitative analysis courses
  • Demonstrated experience conducting weapons system acquisition cost analysis for military aircraft or airborne weapons systems
  • Strong analytical skills and spreadsheet expertise is required
  • Candidate must have a current DoD secret clearance
  • Candidates will be required to pass a background check for this position
  • Must be an US Citizen
