As the integral member of OMRON Automation Americas (OAA) Manufacturing Department, the Senior Software Mfg. Engineer is responsible for developing, validating, implementing and maintaining the various process control software that are used in manufacturing our complex electronic products. To this end the Engineer will be responsible for managing projects involving the development, evaluation, and improvement of the software tools used in our manufacturing methods and processes for both sustaining engineering and the introduction of new products. They will be tasked with the architectural design and implementation of various IT/OT (ERP/MRP, MES, PLM systems) and Digital Transformation (DX) strategic efforts. In addition, the engineer will be responsible for digitization, visualization and automation for the factory using software tools and business systems in alignment with the Omron New Production System guidelines.
