The IaaS intern will participate in the Data Center Colocation migration project by assisting the PM and other infrastructure team members with project planning and execution tasks.

The Intern should expect to support and improve the following:

  • Interpret and manipulate data to plan data center hardware moves.
  • Conduct meetings with stakeholders to validate data and collect approvals.
  • Research industry best practices for data center migrations.
  • Create Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
  • Assist with the planning of phase 1 server moves for Financial Services.
  • Assist with the validation of the colocation data center construction.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred degrees: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Information Management, or related field.
  • Preferred skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio), strong communication skills, English language, experience with graphics design is a plus.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE August 12th - December 13th, 2024.
