About the Role
In this role you will take a central position in driving implementation of simulation tools, methods and best practices across the automotive division
What You Will Do
- Lead the creation of processes to ensure uniform application of simulation tools during product development.
- Provide insight into the latest research direction of the simulation industry
- Provide leadership for the evaluation of new simulation tools
- Drive roadmap planning and technological evolution of simulation capabilities.
- Act as the corporate expert for the use and interpretation of simulation tools and methods
- Utilize simulation methods to produce reliability estimates without the need for physical testing
- Correlate simulation methods and tools to physical testing to ensure known relationships can be developed for simulation methods vs. physical testing.
What You Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science
- 10+ years of simulation experience
- Ability to lead teams which have no direct reporting authority
- Effective communicator at all levels within organizations
What is Nice to Have
- A PhD degree in simulation use with Automotive industry
- Experience with design of Automotive ECU's
What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic and international travel
- Be willing to work in an office where the regional validation laboratory is located
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
