Your Team

Dedicated to perfecting the Roon Remote and Roon Server products, the Roon team is on a mission to provide users with an unmatched, immersive music experience. By blending state-of-the-art technology, creative design, and user-friendly features, the team strives to enrich the lives of audiophiles and music lovers worldwide. Their commitment to fostering a collaborative and innovative culture ensures that each team member is equipped to contribute their expertise.

What You Will Do

  • Develop systems that manage audio software using .NET-based technologies across multiple platforms, including Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
    - These systems include User Interface engineering, Desktop / Mobile application development, Databases (programming), Networking, Graphics (real-time rendering or image processing), Audio (playback, management, processing), Software performance profiling, debugging, and optimization.
  • Guide the technical direction of the development team to ensure projects with varying levels of complexity are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Being a leader, mentor, and confidence driver for the team.
  • Collaborate on systems that manage audio content, music metadata, and audio streaming within local networks.
  • Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders.

What You Need

  • A passion for delivering top-notch audio experiences to users and an interest in the audio technology domain.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant software application development experience, demonstrating proficiency and depth in your skills.
  • Advanced software development experience using C# and C/C++.
  • Expertise in developing software across platforms, including but not limited to; Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and projects, with a track record of effectively guiding and coordinating fellow developers.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.

What is Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in GPU programming, specifically real-time rendering and image processing.
  • Virtual or Remote work in any US time zone.
