Description

This is a structured Hybrid Position which requires working in our Syracuse, NY facility: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday and Thursday are optional in office, or home office workdays. Therefore, candidates must reside within reasonable drivable distance to the facility.

Wenger Corporation is seeking an Estimator to join our team! As an Estimator, you will contribute to Wenger Corporation's strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience by reviewing project plans and specifications, compiling pricing to reflect scope of work, and submitting quotations to provide customers with a better understanding of standard and custom rigging solutions.

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant sales and construction experience
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of pre-construction & public bidding processes and documents

It'd be great if you also have:

  • ETCP Rigger - Theatre
  • Working knowledge of theatre rigging applications

What you will do on a typical day:

  • Review plans & specifications to determine project scope of work and costs
  • Interface with Field Sales Team to determine bid strategies
  • Review awarded contracts in conjunction with Contracts Team
  • Produce accurate estimates, quotations and bills of materials using CRM (EPICOR) quoting program
  • Review and coordinate work with other estimators and sales staff
  • Work with internal resources (Engineering, Project Management, Production) to identify project needs as they relate to pricing
  • Adhere to company processes and requirements, drive improvements
  • Perform work activities that are in line with achieving the company's Purpose and Core Values
