QualificationsPOSITION SUMMARY
The qualified candidate will assist the in-house machinists in their tasks of supporting Engineering and production by being part of the development of tooling, fixtures and repairing any downed production equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain the machines and topping off all fluids.
* Maintain a safe & clean work environment.
* Work closely with the in-house machinists with the goal of working independently.
* Set up, program, and run the CNC mills and lathes.
* Conduct themselves in a professional manner.
REQUIREMENTS
* Current high school student with at least 2 years in a Machine Shop trade school.
* Has completed and passed all safety trainings.
* Familiar and comfortable in a shop environment.
* Knowledge of hand measuring tools.
* Knowledge of various machine shop equipment.
* Knowledge of SolidWorks not necessary but preferred.
