Job Description

Summary/objective

Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler founded in Birmingham, AL more than 123 years ago. Buffalo Rock manages the best non-alcoholic beverage portfolio in the country, which includes several beloved global and regional brands. The Pricing Specialist Level I position is a key member of the Customer Finance Administration Team.The Pricing Specialist Level I provides administrative support to the Franchise as it relates to all aspects of pricing responsibilities.

Essential functions

  • Responsible for review and auditing of pricing related AR short/over payments.
  • Responsible for running the daily price override report to determine potential short payments.
  • Responsible for regular communication with the Accounts Receivable team.
  • Responsible for regular communications with the Corporate Retail and On-Premise Sales Department for verification of pricing related short payments.
  • Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
  • Backup support of accurate and timely input and maintenance of portal pricing for all pertinent customers as outlined by the sales team.
  • Backup support for maintaining accurate and timely pricing in VIP. (Promotions, contracts, and discounts)
  • Required to complete other activities assigned by supervisor.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.
  • Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other provided method. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to online and/or facilitated training.
  • Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the Company from possible damages, theft, or other liabilities.
  • Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the safety of employee- partners, self, customers, Buffalo Rock property, and customer property.

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Required
  • Experience:
    • No prior experience necessary
  • Computer Skills:
    • Proficient experience in/ application of Microsoft Office 365 products is required including, but not limited to: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, etc.
