Job Description

The position is based in Seattle, Washington.
This position does not offer relocation benefits.

The team will be dedicated to supporting a webscale company which is new to deploying Nokia routers. The job duties will consist of trouble shooting issues found in deploying routers using SONiC based containers. The role will require direct interaction with people in Nokia and Customer's R&D, Operations and Senior Management roles.



  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Nokia routers via software automation.
  • Mastering knowledge of SONiC containers Bgp, Dhcp-relay, Swss, CLI / sonic-cfggen, Syncd and Database.
  • Creating Python scripts that assist in the deployment, configuration and updating of routers.
  • Learning Data Center deployment and configuration of switches and routers


  • Either a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • 7-10 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.
  • Experience with software development with one or more general programming languages (e.g. Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, or Go)
  • Willingness to contribute with creative, out-of-the-box solutions, to problems arising in a dynamic environment, under high market pressure.
