POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Senior Accountant based in Indianapolis, IN. This role will report directly to the AVP Finance Accounting and Compliance and work closely with Shared Services leader, plant controllers, and other Senior leadership. The Senior Accountant is responsible for partnering with functional leaders and field personnel to provide meaningful financial analysis; assumes important role in managing the Holding entity; supports site balance sheet reviews; drives accounting changes and productivity at sites; and delivers financial objectives

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $90,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assume responsibility for all accounting and reporting aspects of the Holding entity.
  • Support Internal and External Audit, coordinating with sites and audit team.
  • Lead Balance Sheet reviews.
  • Support implementation of Group Accounting directives.
  • Participate in the implementation of SAP S8 in other sites.
  • Support the legal invoices coordinating process between Legal Department and Accounts payable.
  • Establish operating routines with partners, including standard reporting, metrics, and rhythms.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • BS in Finance, Accounting, or similar analytical discipline
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge within Business Intelligence (BI) reporting
  • Business Proficiency in English

WHAT WE PREFER

  • Manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management and SAP
