Come be part of our exciting and growing Catalyst team located in Louisville, KY. You will work with cross-functional groups within Clariant while ensuring our products are manufactured to the highest standards with our toll manufactures. You will be a key addition to our operations team assisting in continuous improvement of our Tolling processes.


Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for performance management and monitoring of ongoing production at tollers.
  • Responsible for achieving capacity and maintaining product quality at toll manufacturers.
  • Ensure compliance with Clariant policies regarding safety and environmental aspects for 3rd party manufacturers.
  • You are accountable forthe inventory cycle counts are executed according to the current work instructions.
  • Provides input to procurement for contract negotiation and contract management in cases of deviations (quality, safety, yields, rates, inventory).
  • Drives projects for cost, quality, and capacity improvements at toll manufacturers.
  • Responsible for BOM builds, maintenance and production reporting at the tollers.
  • Ensures the compliance of the MOC process at tollers and supports RCAs related to tolling operations.
  • Drives continuous improvement projects in coordinating internal stakeholders and tollers, strives for state-of-the-art toller management within Clariant.
  • Understands the tolled manufacturing processes and communicates toller capabilities to Clariant stakeholders.
  • You will coordinatewith supply chain on production route selection.

Requirements

  • Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Seeking 3+ yearsof experience in production or product development, within Chemical manufacturing would be a plus.
  • Experience in project management, excellent communication skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams. SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of catalyst manufacturing processes desired.
  • Excellent communication with all stakeholders internally and with toll manufacturers.
  • Focus on high quality and adherence to on time delivery of products that meet our quality specification.
  • Should have the ability to manage professional staff without having functional responsibility.
  • Seeking the ability to control multiple processes at different locations simultaneously this previous experience will be a huge plus.
