Antiterrorism Awareness (A2T T3) Course Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Summary:

The A2T T3 course is designed to provide situational awareness training of cyber and physical threats and vulnerabilities that exist during overseas travel at the Individual Soldier or at the team level. SMEs will teach the basic tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP's) of how hostile elements conduct operation in both the applied fields of physical and cyber intelligence gathering and how to apply the appropriate countermeasures. Training will include open-source collection on students, case studies, live demonstrations, and Practical Exercises. Training will end with a culminating exercise encompassing the skills learned during the training and followed by an out brief.

The SMEs shall perform all tasks associated with this position such as:

• Intro to Situational Awareness and Observation Skills / Intro to Surveillance
• Understanding the Threat and Avoidance of Confrontation
• Surveillance/Threat Awareness Routes
• Physical Travel Security/Entry Countermeasures/ Intro to Counter-Surveillance
• Electronic and Information Security
• Electronic Device Security
• Securing Data

Basic Qualifications:

Must be a US citizen with a Secret or higher security clearance, applicant will be subject to a government security investigation.

Minimum Requirements:

SMEs must have real world experience in digital and physical surveillance. Prior military and/or law enforcement experience in surveillance, counter surveillance, and cyber security is required. Additionally, should have open-source intelligence (OSINT) certifications by the military or law enforcement which will enhance the training.

• Must be willing and able to travel TDY for engagements related to the course.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours in various garrison and field environments.
