The company was founded in 1951 by Thomas Mackie in the United Kingdom and then expanded into the United States in 1983. More than six decades later, Tom's principle of empowering his people to make local business decisions continues to provide our customers the locally tailored service and flexibility they have come to expect, while also providing all benefits that come from our extended service network. We are proud to remain a family owned company, built on strong family principles. Our US network now spans 30 states, with 509 local teams, dedicated to providing unparalleled dependability, quality and service.

Our Mission

To create the team spirit required to be successful, every staff member -- from entry-level to senior management positions--are enrolled into our profit sharing plan that may create some lucrative rewards based around the results of each individual team. To coincide with our profit sharing plan, we also offer a vehicle incentive program that offers the Senior Management, Accountants, Branch Manager, and Sales Reps an opportunity to upgrade their vehicle through various qualifying tiers-- depending on the individual team results.
