ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Prepare bread, desserts and any cold items needed for lunch and dinner.
  • Prep for bread and desserts needed for the next day.  (Will refer to Master Production Sheets for directions, including quantity).
  • Prepare bread for lunch.
  • Prepare bread for dinner.
  • Assist in preparation of special functions.
  • Responsible for routine cleaning of food preparation areas and proper sanitation techniques.
  • Dessert freezer and pantry FIFO, clean, labeled and dated.
  • Assists with BEO and special event requests.
  • Helps put orders away.

Qualifications

 Education required:

High School graduate or the equivalent, a 2 year culinary degree preferred

Experience required:

Mnimum of three years’ experience working with salads and baking

 Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required:

Must be able to follow standardized recipes for preparing food and maintain the high standards of the department.  Knowledge of safety, sanitation and operation of standard appliances necessary.  Ability to get along with others and work as a team member.
