POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for overseeing all retail functions and duties in an assigned branch. This position will focus on bringing in new loan and deposit relationships while working toward sales goals, customer retention, and staff development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure adequate staff is available for all branch hours
Responsible for training, goal setting, and motivating the staff to provide exceptional service to the customers in retail products
Supervise and provide work direction to all retail staff
Perform cash drawer audits, conduct performance appraisals, and facilitate new employee training and/or mentoring
Participate and lead all employees in Frontline Focus/sales goals; perform Universal Banker and other retail staff duties
Serve as point of contact/have working knowledge of troubleshooting and servicing coin machines, money handling machines, ATMs, and mechanics of the drive-up equipment (as applicable in each location)
Assist with more complex customer issues
Monitor and identify facility needs on a regular basis
Coordinate with other departments in the branch office to ensure open lines of communication as it relates to customer referrals, service, and function of the facility
Works a varied schedule based on business needs
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS: Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
One to three years in Accounting or banking experience preferred; 2+ years of supervisory and leadership experience preferred
Other Skills and Abilities
Strong math skills; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees
Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations
Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
Maintain a complete understanding of regulatory and compliance policies and procedures

Be able to work flexible hours and shifts
Travel to/from and work in multiple locations
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Supervisory Responsibilities This position is responsible for supervising staff in accordance with the bank’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and taking corrective action with employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed largely within the Bank with limited chance for personal injury.
The following physical and mental requirements must be met in order to perform the essential functions of this position:
Frequently communicate with employees and other parties by phone, email and/or in person; can exchange accurate information in these situations. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer. Frequently move inside the office to access files or office equipment. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of office supplies and equipment. Some bending, turning, and twisting required. Periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines. Work hours are generally during normal business hours. Unscheduled evening and weekend work may be needed to meet the needs of customers and employees. Occasionally drive to/from and work in multiple branches/locations.
